Mumbai: Okkaliga Sangh Felicitates Directors of Hassan District Co-op Central Bank

Mumbai, Aug 6: The metro-based Okkaliga Sangh Maharashtra felicitated the Board of Directors of Hassan District Co-operative Central Bank, in a function held at Solitaire Park Hotel auditorium, Sahar Road, Andheri (East), on Thursday August 4.

The Bank’s chairman C N Balakrishna and deputy chairman S Yogeshappa were felicitated by the Sangh’s president Narayan R Gowda, vice-president Rangappa C Gowda and Jayalaxmi Co-operative Credit Society directors Mutte S Gowda and A Kempe Gowda on the occasion.



The Bank’s directors Arvind Hettoor Sakleshpur, K Raghu, Jagdish, Puttaswamy Gowda, B G Timme Gowda, Karle Indresh, Girish Beloor, managing director Shankar Salian, and deputy general manager Dharmappa Suvarnalli were also felicitated during the programme.

The Bank’s Board of Directors arrived in the metro after attending a training camp at Vaikunt Mehta National Institute of Co-operative Management, Pune.

Speaking on the occasion, the Bank’s chairman C N Balakrishna said that the Bank has the chief objective of rural development.  “It has advanced Rs 190 crore in crop loans at 1 percent interest rate, besides advancing Rs 30 crore to self-help-groups, thereby gaining third place in Karnataka in financial sustainability.  The housing loans enabled the customers to realize their housing needs.  The customers’ loyalty has been an asset for the Bank to make grow rapidly,” said Balakrishna.
