Clerics in UAE Call for Austere Life


Abu Dhabi, Aug 3 (IANS/WAM) Religious scholars in UAE have called on worshippers to abstain from extravagance and be contented with what they have.

During their sermons in mosques, the clerics spoke about the virtues of Ramadan, characteristics of faith, and how to prepare for the holy month.

The scholars were invited by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to deliver sermons during the holy month of Ramadan.
