Mangaluru, Aug 5: A Sangh Parivar activist, who was secretly filming while his neighbour was bathing in the bathroom, was caught by locals and handed over to Mulky police on Wednesday.
The arrested is identified as Sumant Poojary (22), a resident of Pakshikere Hosakadu. He is an active member of Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) unit of Pakshikere.
The incident occurred at around 11 pm on Wednesday at Hosakadu of Pakshikere under Kemral gram panchayat and came to light on Friday morning.
It is said that Sumant was video-recording his neighbour woman bathing. The woman who saw the mobile camera in her bathroom screamed. The neighbours who rushed caught culprit Sumant and thrashed him. Later, the matter was informed to police and the police arrested Sumant. The video of the woman taking bath which was found on his mobile phone was also seized.
