UAE Distributes Humanitarian Aid in Chad


Abu Dhabi, Aug 3 (IANS/WAM): The United Arab Emirates' Red Crescent Authority has launched humanitarian assistance and charitable projects in the Republic of Chad, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

A delegation of the RCA distributed food and financial assistance to 126 families in Kelo city, as well as a number of other cities in the central African country.

UAE has sent relief plane carrying 33 tonnes of dates, clothes and school bags for poor, needy and destitute families in Chad.
