UAE Fighter Pilot Killed in Crash


Abu Dhabi, July 20 (IANS/WAM) A fighter pilot of the United Arab Emirates's armed forces was killed Wednesday, a statement said.

First Lt. Suhail Mubarak Abdullah Al Dhahiri died as his fighter jet crashed Tuesday evening during a routine training mission, according to a statement from the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces.

The incident occurred in the UAE airspace.
