Much-awaited Kannada movie ‘Bera’ releases at Big Cinemas in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jun 16: 'Bera’, a Kannada movie produced by Divakar Das, under SLV Production house banner and directed by Vinu Balanja, released on Friday June 16 at Big Cinemas at Bharath Mall in the city.

Prakash Pandeshwar, producer and director inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Speaking on the occasion, Prakash said, “Bera is being released throughout Karnataka. Director said that the story involves harmony between Hindus and Muslims. Cine lovers should support such movies which proclaim communal harmony.”

Actor Swaraj Shetty said, “This is a movie which has different storyline. Many senior and junior artistes are there in the cast. They need your support.”

Senior dramatist V G Pal, senior art director Tamma Laxmana, M K Mata, Prakash Pandeshwar, Kishore Shetty, entrepreneur Prem Shetty, Johnson Martis, A K Vijaya Kokila, actors Deepak Rai Panaje, Tammanna Shetty and Swaraj Shetty were present.

Giving the summary of the story, director Vinu Balanja said, “Bera has a unique story which says ‘when religion, which is invented for the wellbeing of mankind, is used for selfish motives it creates disaster’. Bera means business. Values should not become commodities of trading. Then the humanity will fall silent. When these kinds of business is outgrown life becomes beautiful and builds a prosperous society.”

The movie is produced by Divakar Das, owner of SLV Colours Production House. Executive producer is Ramdash Shetty. Rajshekhar Ramatnal is the DOP. Music is provided by Manikant Kadri. Editing is done by Srikant. Codirector is Subhash Arva.

The cast includes Suman Talwar, Harshika Poonaccha, Harshavardhan, Aravinda Rao, Rakesh Maiyya Dattanna, Ashwin Hassan, Yash Shetty, Shine Shetty, Swaraj Shetty, Deepak Rai Panaje, Tammanna Shetty, Rajshekhar Shetty, Manjunath Hegde, M K Mata, Chitkala Biradar, Anjali, Shobharani, Shanthala Kamath, Guru Hegde, Sabita Kamath, Dhaval Prasanna, Pradeep Chandra Kutpady and Girish.
