Kasargod: Baptist Crasta falls from building, succumbs in hospital

Kasargod, June 9: A man who fell from a building following which he was admitted to a hospital, died without responding to treatment.

The deceased is Paivalike Attegoli resident, Baptist Crasta (59).

He had fallen unconscious below a building at Attegoli on Wednesday night. Police personnel who were passing that way admitted him to the Mangalpady government hospital. However, as he was seriously injured, he was later carried to Kasaragod and admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

 

He died without responding to treatment on Friday morning. Baptist Crasta had worked as a bus cleaner in the past.

Kumble station police have registered a case and are conducting investigations. He was unmarried. Police said that his mortal remains will be handed over to his relatives after the post-mortem on Saturday.
