Mangaluru, Jun 9: City crime branch police arrested two persons for possessing Methylene Dioxy Methamphetamine (MDMA) on Thursday June 8.
The arrested are identified as Mohammed Ashraf (43) from Farangipete and Davood Farvez (36) from Permanur.
The duo had purchased the narcotic drug from Bengaluru and were trying to sell it in Mangaluru.
As much as 55.5 gram MDMA worth Rs 2,77,550, two mobile phones, cash Rs 3230 and a car was seized from their possession. Total worth of the seized items is Rs 13,06,230.
Both accused has six ganja cases registered in different police stations.
