Kasargod: Property dispute between brothers led to younger sibling’s murder

Kasargod, Jun 5: It is learnt that the stabbing of younger brother by the elder that took place at Kalayi of Paivalike on June 2 was over a property dispute.

Three sons of Narayana Nonda and Baby couple, residents of Kalayi, are unmarried and lived in the same house along with parents.

The family has more than two acres of land at Kalayi and Puttur and the brothers used to quarrel often over the share of the property.


Prabhakar Nonda

Deceased Prabhakar Nonda (42) was not agreeing to divide the property. Due to this enmity, his elder brother Jayarama Nonda stabbed him to death.

Accused Jayarama Nonda had killed his elder brother Balakrishna Nonda also in 1994.
