Bengaluru, Jun 3: Congress taunted the BJP leaders who were ridiculing the five guarantees the party had promised during the elections by saying that the electricity is free to even the BJP leaders.
In a tweet, state Congress said, “Dear BJP state president Nalin Kumar, for your house also 200 units of electricity is free. Dear former CM Basavaraj Bommai, even your house will get free electricity for 200 units. Dear union minister Shobha Karandlaje you can travel for free in KSRTC buses in Karnataka. Dear BJP national chief secretary C T Ravi, the women in your house will also get Rs 2000 free.”
In addition, the state Congress tweeted, “Yuvanidhi is free (if they are graduates or diploma holders) for the unemployed youths of Bajrang Dal. We follow what we preach. We keep our word. We have created history by implementing all the five guarantees we promised in our election manifesto. This is our commitment.”
