Unidentified men kill ruling PPP's leader in Karachi


Islamabad, July 16 (IANS) Unidentified men killed a leader of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Saturday evening in Karachi city, Xinhua reported.

Gunmen opened fired at the car of Amir Shah in Gulistan Jauhar area of Karachi, witnesses and media reports said.

Jauhar was critically injured in the firing and was brought to hospital for medical attention. But he later died at the hospital, said doctors.

Another person in the car was also killed, Dawn reported.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
