Mangaluru, May 26: A theft incident occurred at Sai Parivar Bar and Restaurant in Modur Kotekar, where a cashier absconded with Rs 1,23,900 money.

The incident took place at a bar owned by Lohit Rai. The perpetrator of the cash theft is identified as Harish Vamanjoor, who had recently joined the establishment just four days prior.

Harish, working as a cashier, took advantage of the situation on the morning of May 21 when Anand, another employee, had briefly left for the restroom. Seizing the opportunity, Harish stole Rs. 1,23,900 from the cash counter drawer and made his escape.

A case has been registered at the Ullal Police Station in connection with the incident.

    Yes accused sitting at the root will not be sitting long seeing how much money is there.First of all it is the fault of employer employing one unknown person without knowing his previous history .He should have made to bring a conduct certificate from Police.Now search him .or learn for the future.Better a hidden cctv camera in future at the cashing .
