Riyadh: Jam’iyyatul Falah Annual General Body Meeting Held

Riyadh, Jul 13: Jam’iyyatul Falah (JF) Riyadh unit held its annual general body meeting at Sholay Banquet Hall, here recently.

The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Quran by Yousuf Baithar Saqafi.

Chief editor of Vartha Bharathi newspaper, Abdul Salam Puthige was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion Abdul Salam Appreciated the efforts of JF and urged the audience and JF members to follow the Quran and prophet Mohammed. He noted some verses from the Quran related to virtues of helping the needy.

President of JF Riyadh Akhtar Shaikh  briefed about efforts of JF in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts during the year 2010-2011with a slide show. He thanked the members and committee for their support during his tenure and appealed youngsters to join JF to continue the 22 years' noble mission.

General secretary Nazeer Ahmed presented the annual report and the annual financial report was presented by the treasurer Ayaz Ahmed.

Mohammed Nawaz and Shaikh Saadulah conducted the election procedure. The newly elected committee decided that president, vice-president, treasury and general secretary will continue their respective terms this year as well. The decision was taken considering their outstanding contributions during the year 2010-2011.

A total of 32 executive committee members were elected for the term and eight new members joined the committee.

NRCC Reps: Mohammed Nawaz and Parvez Ali

Mohammed Nawaz welcomed the gathering and expressed his gratitude to all the JF life members, office bearers of other organization and the guests.

Founder member of JF Mohammed Bolar and vice-president of KWAR, Riyadh Royston Prabhu among others were present.

Parvez Ali facilitated the programme and thanked all the attendees and executive committee members of JF Riyadh for extending their support.
