Mumbai: Birth anniversary of Adi Shankaracharya observed

Mumbai, May 1: Gopalakrishna Public trust, BSKB association and Subrahmanya Seva Sangha jointly celebrated the birth anniversary of Adi Shankaracharya at Gokula auditorium here, on April 30.

Rituals were held in the leadership of Udupi based priest Brahmashree Vagish Shastri, assistant priests Pratap Rao and Nagesh Sharma. Gokula Bhajana Mandali sang bhajans.

Tanvi Rao, Jahnavi, Bhargavi Pothi, Hamsa and Manasvi performed dances.

Vagish Shastri offered prayers for all. Theertha prasada and meals were served to all the devotees present on the occasion.
