Kundapur, Apr 29: “The BJP is governing on the basis of equality. The government in the state is stable due to double the engine government at the centre and the state,” said union home minister Amit Shah. He was speaking after a road show at Siddapur, Byndoor constituency.

“I will participate in victory celebrations if the BJP candidate at Byndoor is made to win with a margin of more than 50,000 votes,” he said.

“Our government stresses on security in the country. Taking the bold decision of banning organizations such as PFI and eradication of terrorist activities has brought about an atmosphere of safety in the country today. Instances such as bomb attacks have come under control,” he said.

“The centre has taken steps to protect the welfare of farmers in the coastal region. As areca nut growers are supported, they have got good prices. The government is bound to provide social justice to all sections of the people,” he said.

Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Byndoor candidate Gururaj Gantihole, district BJP president Suresh Nayak Kuilady, Byndoor Mandala president Deepak Kumar Shetty, chief secretary Priyadarshini and others were present.
