Abu Dhabi Residents Warned over Vandalism

Abu Dhabi, Jul 5 (The National): Abu Dhabi Municipality is calling on residents to keep community areas clean after a recent spate of vandalism in residential parks and gardens.

At several parks and playgrounds, grass was torn up and pavements were destroyed. Vandals who were caught would be held "legally accountable for this deplorable and indecent conduct", said Ahmed Al Muraikhi, the director of parks recreational facilities at the municipality.

Anyone who witnesses vandalism should call 800 22220. Parents are also urged to educate their children about protecting public property.
