Mumbai, Jun 30: The verdict on the notorious Neeraj Grover case in which Kannada actress Maria Susairaj and naval officer Emile Jerome Mathew are the main accused, will be delivered on Thursday June 30. The murder took place three years ago.
The couple was arrested on May 2008 for the murder of Grover, a senior TV producer.
Grover was found murdered in Maria's apartment in suburban Mumbai on May 7 2008.
Matthew who suspected Maria of having an affair withn Grover allegedly killed him. Maria and Jerome then got rid of the body by chopping it into many pieces and burning them.
The hearing that began on April 2009 based on circumstantial and scientific evidence turned into a blame game between Maria and Matthew.
Grover's father said that Maria had called Grover to her place late on May 6 and since then they had not heard from him. He alleged that Maria conspired against him and she should be given death sentance.
