Rave Party: Police Arrest Anti-Narcotics Cell Inspector, Four Others

Mumbai, Jun 27: The police on Monday June 27 arrested five persons for their involvement in the rave party that was busted in Raigad on late Sunday night.

Apart from inspector of the Mumbai anti-narcotics cells Anil Jadhav, the police held his aide Sunil Ghule, hotel manager Rahul Khanna and party organisers Snehjit Sajalkar and Kushankumar Sujankumar.

The police is still on the lookout for Vickey Shah who had fled the scene.

The accused have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Raigad Deputy SP Namrata Patil said that the other detainees, about 300 of them including around 60 girls, were let off after a medical examination.

She also informed that Jadhav was found in the room were drugs have been kept.

The police raided a rave party on late Sunday night at Mount View Hotel in Khalapur, Raigad and seized a large quantity of drugs apart from Rs 3.08 lac in cash.. All the detainees are said to belong to well-to-do families.

Though the youths have been let off, Patil said that appropriate action will be taken against them once the medical report was out.

    this is another socialist silly minded philopsphy of the govermnent trying to exert its moral authorities when its morals are as low as hell itself.
    people have a right ot have fun
    the govt shoud be focussing on maoists, pakistan, corruption instead of stopping younsters frm partying

    india is nowhere near china - our cities are a dumo, our leaders inept our whole education is a mess with reservations - with jats gujjars obc quotas etc etc and the govt is trying to stop parties!!!

    These people should be fined heavily and the money collected from these people should be donated to Hospitals. Total precautions should be taken to see that the money is not distributed among the police.

You people are blessed with lots of money and opportunity to do great things for the country. Help the poor instead which Govt is in a denial mood.     You will never get the level of satisfaction which you are searching in these type of things, may be for sometime you get unconsiousness you are away from everything but finally it is bringing you towards your distruction in every sphere of life financially, morally.
    You decide yourself what you got by using this and what you loose and.
    The thing which you are looking for is very nice but the medium you choose to get this is rubbish. Just think properly and get involve in right thing to get satisfaction.

    Hey Boys and Girls, please don't waste the money god have gave you in such ways. You can help the needy peoples and get their blessings with your excess money. Do you know everyday 2 lakh kids under the age group of 10, sleeps without food at nights. Please do help them. Try once atleast, and you will feel the differrence that night. Please,act as an INDIAN, and atleast take charge of feeding 1 child who is really in need of your excess money.

    Please get real !
    they are just kids, and you are talking about punishing them like in saudi and iran. And well most of drugs have been planted by the police itself, every human has the right celebrate and party, if you don't like it don't talk about. Then the same don't have birthday parties or marriages, savbe the money and donate it to the hospital. If our govt well governed without corruption people didn't have wait for donations.

    I am not supporting drug culture, All I am saying is there more important things which happen in INdia, need police attention. Terror ? Rapes ? Corruption ? rather than just spoiling some kids fun. And I bet you none of them are addicts.

    if u don't. belive go and visit hospital u will cry if u see the scene. go along with ur rich parents.
