London, Jun 26: 'God' of cricket Sachin Tendulkar met his favourite tennis star Roger Federer at Wimbledon on Saturday June 25. The two legends sat at the balcony of the Wimbledon Royal Box and had a chat.

Tendulkar later tweeted that Federer knew 'a lot about cricket' and that he was 'a humble guy.'

"I am always humbled by the support and love that I get from Indians even when I am @ Wimbledon watching tennis," Tendulkar said on his Twitter page.

The two spent an hour together exchanging views on various topics. Tendulkar's wife Anjali too accompanied him.

Sources said apart from posing together for the media, they also had dinner together.

Federer too posted a caption under a facebook photo of himself shaking hands with the Indian legend, "Today was a special day, played a good match and had the chance to catch up with the great indian cricket star Sachin Tendulkar."
