Kingston, Jun 24: Despite the comfortable victory posted by his men, Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has slammed the umpiring standards in the first test match between India and West Indies, which concluded on Thursday June 23.
According to Dhoni, at least five decisions went against Indians, and if the umpiring had been fair, the match could have ended much earlier.
Though he did not point fingers at any particular umpire, it is obvious that the dubious decisions were given by Australian umpire Daryl Harper, who made three wrong decisions against Indian batsmen, and turned down at least two appeals against West Indian batsmen, which should have gone India's way.
