Kota: Congress women's leader urges for atleast 50% ladies' participation in elections

Kota, Mar 26: Verinika Cornelio, women Congress leader, emphasized that 50% of women in the country should play a decisive role in today's elections. She spoke at the Mahila Congress convention of Kota Block Congress, which was held on March 26 in the field near Saligrama Chempi Halu Dairy.

The BJP is questioning Congress about their accomplishments. However, everyone should know that it is Congress, the leading party in the country, which has the authority to answer such questions. Sudhir Kumar Muroli stated that Congress had made significant contributions to the country when it was in power. On the other hand, the BJP government is mismanaging the country through false declarations. Dinesh Hegde said that Kundapur constituency needs a competent MLA who can speak up about the citizens' problems. He suggested giving Molahalli from Congress a chance.

Dinesh Hegde Molahalli, the Congress candidate for the Kundapur constituency in the assembly elections, believes that change is necessary in the Kundapur assembly constituency. He urges voters to give the Congress party a chance this time.

The KPCC has denounced Rahul Gandhi's expulsion from Lok Sabha as a massacre of democracy. Secretary M A Kapoor moved a resolution of condemnation, stating that they stand with Rahul Gandhi.

Rekha P Suvarna, Kota Block Mahila Congress president, presided over the event. Other prominent leaders present included Congress district president Ashok Kodavuru, Mahila Congress district president Geeta Wagle, Block president Shankar Kunder, Congress party leaders Hariprasad Shetty, Malady Shivaram Shetty, Devaki Sunaiah, Veronica Cornelio, Vikas Hegde, Thimma Pujari Kota, Roshini Olvera, Anita D'Souza Karkala, Mamata B. Pujari, and Kalpana Dinkar.

Lecturer Akshaya Shetty Molahalli hosted the event. The Congress election manifesto guarantee card was released during the program.
