Mangaluru, Mar 24: Journalist-turned social worker Srinivasan Nandagopal received a threat call from an unknown person after he posted an ironic post on Facebook over undisposed garbage in the city and the Mangaluru street food.

As Mangaluru City Corporation has failed to collect the garbage for over three weeks now, Srinivasan Nandagopal had posted, "My 9 am deadline has passed, obvious as it could be. The dry garbage in front of my home remains. The unexpected that I had warned is hence forthcoming."

One who had called Nandagopal claimed to be the secretary of Kudla Samskrithika Prathistana, Mangaluru.

Nandagopal has filed a police complaint in this regard.
