Mangaluru: Vivek Poojary appointed KPCC coordinator of Chikkamagaluru block Congress committee

Mangaluru, Mar 21: The dynamic youngster from Mangaluru, Vivek Poojary has been appointed as Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) coordinator of Chikkamagaluru block Congress committee ahead of elections.

Vivek is a young budding entrepreneur who is CEO and chairman of Panama Corporation will now oversee 165 booths in Chikkamagaluru town. The KPCC has recognized the leadership qualities in Vivek for the past couple of years and his contribution towards the party and given him the opportunity to oversee Chikkamagaluru town ahead of elections.

Vivek has given the opportunity under the guidance of D K Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, D K Suresh, Saleem Ahmed and Ivan D’Souza. Chikkamagaluru district Congress president Amshumanth and other senior leaders were present at time of finalizing the Vivek's name.

"I am thankful to Congress party, DK Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, D K Suresh, Saleem Ahmed and Ivan D’Souza for their trust in me. It is a big responsibility and I have full confidence to handle the responsibility. By this appointment, the Congress party once again proved that it always encourages the youngsters, bringing them to the forefront based on their dedication towards the party. Meanwhile, I am thankful my co-workers who always supported me for take responsibilities,” he said.

Vivek is an entrepreneur who has always desired to serve people. He said that such initiative by Congress will encourage youth to involve in politics. He also said that he is confident that he can work for the betterment of the party as the coordinator and strive for victory in the forthcoming elections.

It may be recalled that Vivek Poojary had relentlessly worked during the pandemic by helping the needy.
