Mangaluru: Fr Ronald Serrao's play 'Ragtacho Dudu' staged at Jeppu church ground

Mangaluru, Mar 20: 'Ragthacho Dudu', a drama based on Biblical narration was held at Jeppu church ground on Sunday March 19 in the presence of huge spectators and drama lovers.

The drama is written by Fr Ronald Serrao, rector, St Joseph Seminary and directed by Clita Noronha. The core essence of the drama is built on the behaviour and deeds of Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus Christ for thirty silver coins. Fr Maxim D’Souza, parish priest, Jeppu was the coordinator of the drama.

Robin Vas, Lawrence Baptist, Roshan D’Souza, Roy Sequeira, Alwyn Miranda, Roshan Fonceka, Prakash Fronterio, Lesli Ferrao, Nilesh Rasquinha, Vijay Miranda, Mackline Fernandes, Stalan D’Silva, Elvis Lobo, Eler D’Souza and Aden D’Souza have acted in the drama as various Biblical characters.

Gretta Carvalho and Marita D’Souza led the communication department behind the stage while Vishwas Rebimbus and Prerana Fronterio rendered their voices for the drama’s songs. Simon Pais is the music director. The stage was designed by Nevil Noronha and lights were handled by Christopher Ninasam. Senior artiste Giriyappa Iddya assisted for makeup. The sound effects provided by Ajith Imatty.
