Mumbai: Guru Narayan Yakshagana Mandali Organizes Shanishwara Scriptural Reading

Mumbai, Jun 20: Under the aegis of Guru Narayan Yakshagana Mandali under Billavara Association and Om Shanti Om unit, the holy scriptural reading of Shanishwara was held at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz (East) here on Saturday June 18.

Billavara Association Mumbai president Jaya C Suvarna offered the motion for the scriptural reading. Dhananjay Shanti performed the vedic celebrations.

Sai Care entrepreneur Surendra V Poojary and Dayasree S Poojary couple offered Kalashas on the occasion.

Billavaar Association Cultural Sub-committee president Ravindra V Amin, honorary chief secretary Sadashiv A Karkera, religious sub-committee president Mohandas G Poojary and honorary secretary Dharmapal G Anchan assisted in the celebration.

Association vice-presidents L V Amin, C T Salian and Nityanand D Kotian, honorary chief secretary Jyoti K Suvarna, honorary chief treasurer Uday S Salian, joint secretaries Dharmesh S Salian, U Dhananjay Kumar and U Dhananjay S, Kotian, Bharat Co-operative Bank chairman Vasudev R Kotian, Seva Dal president Premanath P Kotian, commandant Ganesh K Poojary and Gopal S Kotian were involved in organizing the scriptural reading.

B M Suvarna, Vasudev Marnad, Yashodhar Poojary, Vasu Poojary, Balakrishna Poojary, Prakash Paniyoor, Jayaprakash Nidwannaya, Mohan Baipadittaya and Muddu Anchan among others participated in the scriptural reading.

The hundreds of devotees including Bharat Bank directors Pushpalata S Salian, Raja V Salian and Shankar D Poojary, the Bank officers and staff were present.
