Groom runs away during traffic jam after marriage in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Mar 9 (IANS): A groom escaped from his car while he was stuck in a traffic jam, a day after returning to his house from his wedding in the Mahadevapura police station area in Karnataka's Bengaluru district, police said.

According to police, the incident had taken place on February 16.

After searching for the groom for two weeks, the bride's family lodged a complaint in this connection to help them find the former.

Police said that the newly-wed man earlier had an affair with a woman and the latter had threatened that she would publish their private photos and videos on the social media.

It is suspected that fearing shame, the groom had disappeared.

The bride's family told police that her husband hailing from Chikkaballapur district had told them about the blackmail by his former lover.

The bride had assured the man that she and her family would support him under any circumstances.

In spite of this, when the couple were returning from the church, their vehicle was stuck in a traffic jam for 10 minutes. As soon as the car stopped, the newly-wed man got down from the car and escaped.

Traffic jam made Brides life miserable. Traffic jam helped the criminal to escape. Better to walk in Bangalore roads by holding the hand right than traveling by vehicle.

That's sad. One thing we don't realize , how much anxious most men are when it comes to marriage. But society is more concerned about women.

He ran away on the next day of his marriage. He did not runaway fearing the blackmail, but his likeness of the other woman, who was married with 2 children. While he worked in his father's company in Goa, he met her since she was a clerk in his father's company. Even her husband worked as a driver in the same company. On the first night, probably, he found the new bride lacked the lovemaking techniques, compared with the other woman. (I got the information from a newspaper in Bangalore).

Implanting micro GPS chips would be a good idea to keep track of the bhagoda on real time basis just as some news channel reported about the embedded chips in Rs 2000 notes to prevent hoarding! LoL

When the bride's parents had accepted his past misdoings, what could be the reason to run away after getting married; the bride was coraugeable and forgiving enough to have accepted him! Possibly, he was further blackmailed or he decided to get back to his first love; time will tell!!
