Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Mar 9: Highest temperature of 38.8 deg C in the country is recorded in the city for the second time on Wednesday.

Public are concerned about the soaring mercury day-by-day. IMD has warned of rise of about two to three degrees in temperature in coming days.

The temperature that was recorded in Mangaluru on Wednesday is the maximum since 2010. So far 37.9 deg C recorded in 2017 was the highest. Six days ago, on March 2, the city recorded 37.9 deg C, which was again highest in the country. The prevailing temperature is 5.4 deg C more than usual for this period. On Wednesday, Karwar recorded 38.6 deg C, which is six deg C more than usual for this time of the year.

According to IMD three deg C more temperature will be recorded in many parts of the state in coming days. According to the present trend rain is likely after March in some parts of the state. In coastal region, the rains are expected in March.

The main reason for the increase in temperature is the dry weather and heat wave that is blowing from North to South. In the month of April, the temperature will increase by six degrees in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada.

Madam, in Germany the place you are staying, they have built plenty of Autobahn expressway roads through mountains with many tunnels. May I kindly ask you why you're opposing tunnel highways near your native Mangalore?

Several myths or lies are spread to justify cut down of carbon emissions or move towards green energy which it isn't green anyway. Climate change is natural phenomenon and human activities have only local issue. Yes cutting trees is contributing to the rise in temperature in the locality only. Release of carbon increases the growth of plants and trees and results in higher yield. The elite who created plandemic are trying to limit human activities like cultivation and animal husbandry by creating false propaganda of they are contributing to rise in temperature, thereby increasing hunger and poverty pushing people to become slaves under them, as a result of cutting down jobs and economic development. A fact hidden by them - the temperature of the whole world didn't rise in last 15 years and more hotter countries are getting snowfall. In 300 years the sea level will rise one hundredth of present level. Just one puff of volcano sends 500 years of human activities, how many volcanoes are active now? Change of Earth's angle is one of the contributory factors too in rise of temperature in some places.

This report says the public are concerned about the soaring mercury. This is totally wrong. The people are not concerned at all. If at all they were concerned they would not have cut the trees to such an extent. They would have planted some saplings but nobody is worried. They keep on cutting trees and very few think about planting saplings. We deserve what we get. We asked for this and we are getting this. No use blaming anybody. Madiddu unno maharaya.

Nation is already in man-made misery. Corruption, Crime, Inflation, abuse of power and injustice has already increased multi-folds. If anyone touches back the history. Mother nature, at such point of time always gets more furious. Unfortunately, though its fury wont fall on the guilty, it always falls on innocent, hardworking and honest. We are at stage 1, it looks like.

Concert roads are better than Tard roads which because of black absorbs more heat and spreads high content of heat around the city. Besides, in recent times, the increased population, Industrial growth, ever growing vehicles and deforestation to accommodate multistoried commercial and housing units. In the olden times Western ghats used to be cold and we can feel the difference now.

Cutting the trees, concretization of the roads. Every part of the land is covered with cement, Water flow when raining is washed away due to most of the land being covered with tar, cement & interlock pavements, hence absorption into the soil is getting worse. Places where lakes & cultivation existed are converted into housing colonies. Pollution by vehicles, concrete jungle with buildings with air conditioners contributing to the destruction of ozone layer. This will become worse in the years to come. This is our last chance to save ourselves from the curse of nature for destroying it. We need to learn from countries who conserve green layer & those which was desert and now growing crops which were never thought to be grown before.

More the Humans more will be the pollution and more will be deforestation. this is the price we have to pay for living in an industrail world. Do you think if Humans were still the hunters and gatherers, climate change to occur. Have a small family so that carbon contribution by humans is very negligible. No use blaming Puli or Kali

This is because of concrete roads and cutting trees. Even narrow lanes are concretised and this is a big problem in the future.

Main reason for Mangalore weather change is MRPL and neighbouring industries. Government permitted these companies to chop all the forest and release poisonous gas into the air. They acquired our land and employed Hindi speaking people. We are loosing mangalore in terms of weather as well as employment

As there is high consumption of Fan and AC during this season .. The govt should give rebate and discount to MESCOM consumers by reducing the tariff by at least 50% during this season.
