Mumbai, Mar 6: Thonse Brahma Baidarkala Pancha Doomavati Garodi Seva trust celebrated their 14th anniversary at Billava Bhavana, Santacruz east on March 5. Jayashree Krishna Parisara Premi Samithi founder Thonse Jayakrishna A Shetty, Chief guest, inaugurated the programme.

Trust Mumbai samithi president Nithyananda D Kotian presided over the programme. Indian Overseas Bank former CMD Dr M Narendra, Billavara association Mumbai president Harish G Ameen, Mogaveera Mahajana Seva Sangha Bagwadi honorary president Suresh Kanchan, Bharath Bank director Bhasker M Salian and Urban development authority Udupi former president, Janardhan Thonse were present as guests of honour.

Ananda Shetty, Harish Ameen, Narendra, Bhasker Salian, Janardhan Thonse and Nithyananda Kotian spoke on the occasion.

Sooda Koti Poojary and Shamraja Poojary Ammunje were felicitated for their service to the religious sector. Committee members who celebrated the golden jubilee of married life, Shanker Suvarna and Padmalatha Suvarna, C K Poojary and Bharati Poojary, Soma Suvarna and Hira S Suvarna were felicitated. Thonse young achievers, young Karate sportsperson Rohan Kotian, Lavika Rama Thonse, Dr Shreya Raghu Poojary and master Adi R Poojary were felicitated for their achievements in law, medicine and sports respectively.

Garodi seva trust Mumbai vice presidents D B Ameen and C K Poojary, joint secretary Karunaker B Poojary, joint treasurers Vijay V Sanil and Ashok M Kotian and several members were present. Jayant Poojary, Rama Poojary Thonse, Bhasker Jathan, Janardhan Kotian Hoode, NCP leader Lakshman Poojary, Dr Thonse Vijayakumar Shetty, Navin Shetty Thonse, CA Ashwajith Hejmady, Nilesh Poojary Palimar and others were felicitated.
