J Dey Murder - Four Chhota Shakeel Men Arrested

Mumbai, Jun 15: Four men belonging to underworld elements Chhota Shakeel gang have been detained in the murder of journalist J Dey. Dey was shot dead at Powai, a suburb of Mumbai, on Saturday afternoon. So far, there have been no leads in the case, even as journalists have demanded a CBI probe in the case.

Initial information says that all the men were connected with sandalwood, oil and diesel smuggling.

The four men are being interrogated by the special squad of the Mumbai police and have been identified as Mateen, Iqbal Hateyla and Bobby.

Dey was shot outside a mall close to his home in the suburban Powai area of the city. According to police, four motorcycle-borne men fired at Dey.

Dey was considered to be arguably India's best-connected writer on the Mumbai underworld.

    Recently I Met one Bangladesh National I was Amazed about the Improvement in the Law and Order situation there Compared to Pakistan or Afganistan I asked him how is that possible ? He told Now the Law and order has improved because of a Novel Crime control system brought by the Sheik Hasina Govt .It is Like this GOVT HAS FORMED A SECRET COMMITTE INCLUSIVE OF HIGH RANKING GOVT OFFICERS AND EVEN JUDGES NO BODY EXCEPT GOVT KNOWS WHO ARE THEY ONLY HONEST PEOPLE ARE SELCTED .ANY CRIME WILL BE INFORMED TO THEM THEY PERSONALLY GO TO THE CRIME SPOT WILL NOT ARREST ANY BODY .JUST SECRETLY FOLLOW THE ACCUESED TO VERIFY HIS CHARACTER .IF HE IS FOUND REALLY CRIMINAL JUST SHOT AND KILL HIM .NO ARREST ,NO TRIAL .NO NEED OF EVEN JAIL.NO LITIGATION COSTS ..

    Underworlds in India are like ISI in Pakinstan only because of our inefficient Police / Military who are money minded but not service minded. Inspite of so many instances before us they are ready to spare lives of their/family members but ready to dance to the tunes of politicians/underworlds if they offerd big bugs.

    Dear HENRY MISQUITH, M'lore/Bahrain if State Govt gives Mumbai police open hand to deal with the situation Mumbai police 100% sure will remove all bhai-giri & bhai minded people from mumbai and the funds other dons enjoy sitting abroad will be hampered ...It is a word in Mumbai every moment of crime is know in advance by mumbai police but they cannot avoid or help the victim due to pressure from higher authority or from minister. Let our friend / brother J Dey soul rest in peace.

    The honest Journalist got killed in broad day light in one of the biggest city of India? What do you mean by undeworld Gang? Are they above the government power?If Govt decide to get rid these, itz a matter of just week or two..but doesn't happens that way.. cause all are invovled in the game. Top to bottom there no LAW EQUALITY and LAW ENFORCEMENT.
