‘Kantara’ star Rishab Shetty dedicates Dadasaheb Phalke award to Puneeth Rajkumar, SK Bhagavan

Mangaluru, Feb 27: Writer, director and actor of blockbuster pan-India film ‘Kantara’, Rishab Shetty won the Most Promising Actor (Hindi) trophy at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards ceremony held recently in Mumbai at Taj Land End Hotel.

The proud film maker used social media to address his gratitude. “I am grateful to Hombale Films and Vijay Kiragandur sir for trusting and giving me an opportunity. I can’t wait to make more and better movies together.

“This would have been impossible without our Kantara team and technicians who supported this small dream of mine, and the pillar of my life Pragathi Shetty (wife).

“I dedicate this award to our Daiva Nartakaru, people of Karnataka, Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar and legendary Kannada director S K Bhagavan,” he said.

The Kannada blockbuster 'Kantara' earned Rs 400 crore globally.
