Dubai, Jun 13:
The first anniversary of Padmashali Sangha UAE will be celebrated on Friday June 17 at Sindhi Ceremonial Hall, Bur Dubai from 2 pm onwards.

Padmashali Sangha UAE came into existence a year ago when the enthusiastic members of the community met on June 18, 2010 at the residence of their dynamic leader Ravi Shettigar Karkala in large numbers to form a union.

The main objective of the Sangha is to keep a close knit of the community in this part of the world so as to be meeting, helping and promoting the rich culture of the community, sharing and caring at all times.

As shared by president Ravi Shettigar, the plan to form a community forum was in the pipeline for many years, but materialized only last year when every one gathered and seriously thought of going ahead with it. Thus the Sangha was created and has been successful in conducting Shree Satyanarayana Puja on October 22, 2010 witnessed by large number of devotees and a blood donation campaign recently at Al Wasl Hospital in which around 45 members voluntarily donated blood for a good cause.

Padmashali Sangha UAE has invited all its members to be present on this joyous occassion and make it an event to be remembered.
