Mangaluru: Land Trades conducts international childhood cancer awareness program

Mangaluru, Feb 21: The Land Trades Builders and Developers in association with KMC hospital Attavar, Tapasya Foundation and Lions Club organized an international childhood cancer awareness' program as a part of CSR program here at KMC Hospital, Attavar on Tuesday, February 21.

Actor, director and Bigg Boss Season 9 winner Roopesh Shetty said, "Land Trades have taken a wonderful initiative in organizing the event. Children with cancer and their parents need not be afraid. Consider it as God is testing you with the challenges and once you face it positively, He will definitely show you the path towards success in your life.

Fellow in pediatric hematology and oncology, KMC Mangaluru, Dr Anurag Reddy Nalla said, "The parents need not be afraid of cancer among children as the curable rate is high among children compared to adults."

Pediatrician Dr Suchita Rao said, "The Land Trades has shown social concern and organized awareness programs along with activities for the children. Such programs will definitely motivate the children."

Management trustee of Tapasya Foundation Sabitha R Shetty was also present.

Meanwhile, Land trades Builder and Developer, Tapasya Foundation and Lions Club handed over cheques to KMC Hospital, Attavar.

Managing director of Land trades Srinath Hebbar, Soujanya Hegde compered the event and CEO of Land Trades Ramith Kumar proposed a vote of thanks.

VJ Dixon compered the activity for the children. During the program, games and dance activities were conducted and prizes were distributed to the children.

After the formal function, renowned magician Kudroli Ganesh enthralled children with his magic show.
