Mumbai, Jun 11 (PTI) Gold, silver ornaments and cash collectively valued at Rs 52.50 lakh were allegedly stolen from the house of a businessman here, police said today.
Motilal Shah, who is into garment business, found his house ransacked when he returned to his flat in suburban Santacruz last night, they said.
Gold ornaments worth Rs 46.60 lakh, silver jewellery valued at Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 4.50 lakh in cash were stolen by unidentified persons yesterday when nobody was at home, they said.
