Doha: CRIC Qatar celebrates national sports day on high note

Doha, Feb 15: Euphoria and carnival spirit filled the air as the CRIC Qatar’s 19th tournament kicked off on the eve of Qatar National Sports Day. Cric Qatar is one of the leading cricket tournament organiser of hard tennis ball in Doha. This one day tournament saw sporting extravaganza with 7 matches being played continuously.

Syed Rafi the chairman and founder of CRIC Qatar said, "We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality and enjoyable experience for every tournament and this was no different, from organising to conducting successfully with much ease is our speciality."

The chief guest of the evening was Gadde Srinivas, the president of Telangana Praja Samithi who handed over the trophies to the winner and runners-up praised the services of Syed Rafi in providing full entertainment to the players by conducting the tournaments and league matches successfully. Syed Rafi thanked Mohammad Irfan for his contribution in organising the tournament efficiently.

The final match towards championship was played between Golden Star cricket club and QTSP teams and Golden Stars Cricket Club team lift the trophy by defeating QTSP team. The teams which participated in this one day tournament were HIQ Cricket Club, Asian XI, Golden Star CC, QTSP team, NBK Fun Boys, Black Tech Boys, Sea Birds team and Sharks XI teams. Adding to the sports zest was the prize distribution ceremony which signified the essence of adaptability, creativity and resilience of the teams and its players.
