Mumbai, Jun 9: Mahapanchami was celebrated at Kavale mutt, Banganga, Walkeshwar, here in the presence of Swami Shivanand Saraswati Swami of Kaivalya mutt, recently.

Swami Shivanand Saraswati performed various religious celebrations to mark Mahapanchami on the occasion.

Large number of devotees arrived at the mutt to participate in the puja celebrations and seek the blessings of Swami Shivanand Saraswati.  A devotional music programme in honour of Lord Bhavanishankar and Durga Mata was held in the evening.

Kavale mutt president Ganesh Shanbhag, public relations officer Kamalaksha Saraf, secretaries Pramod Gaitonde and Prashant Shenoy, D B Pandit, Sachin Sabnis, Kishore Kulkarni, Chintamani Nadkarni and Ravi Shenoy among others were present.
