Bantwal: Police arrest man for evading court summons from 20 years

Bantwal, Feb 7: A man who was absconding for the past 20 years and evading hearings, despite the court issuing warrants against him, has been arrested.

Police had booked him under sections 380 and 454 of IPC. But, instead of appearing for court hearing he was absconding.

The arrested is identified as Salman (36) alias Munna alias Chotu, a resident of Keremane, 1st cross, Raghavendra Nagara of Sakeleshpur Taluk in Hassan District.

The police picked him from Sakleshpur on February 6.
