'Government has nothing to do with Adani issue,' says Pralhad Joshi

New Delhi, Feb 3 (IANS): Amid continued disruptions in both houses of Parliament over US-based research firm Hindenburg's allegations against Adani group, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on Friday said that the government has nothing to do with the matter and the opposition is raising it as it is bereft of issues.

Speaking to reporters in Parliament, Joshi, when asked about the government's stand on the Adani group issue, said that the government has got nothing to do with the matter.

"Government has nothing to do with it (Adani group issue)... The opposition is disrupting the house as it has no other issues," the Parliamentary Affairs minister said.

Earlier, both houses of Parliament were adjourned till afternoon (Lok Sabha till 2 p.m. and Rajya Sabha till 2:30 p.m.) within minutes of being convened, as Congress-led opposition staged noisy protests over Hindenburg's report on Adani group.

SINCE 9 YEARS THIS GOVERNMENT RUNS ON ILLEGAL WAYS AND DOESN'T FOLLOW ETHICAL RULES AND REGULATIONS. ADANI HAS BEEN FAVOURED BY AMENDING CONTRACT RULES TO GET TENDERS. LIC, SBI N OTHER BANKS PRESSURED TO LEND MONEY. BUSINESS ETHICS NOT FOLLOWED AND BJP SUPPORTERS BLIND BELIEVERS OF RELIGION. MOST OF THE BJP SUPPORTERS MUST KNOW RELIGION DOESN'T PROVIDE FOOD, SHELTER, EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE AND JOBS. BJP GOVERNMENT MUST PROVIDE TO ALL CITIZENS. LORD RAM IS NOT PROVIDING WHEREAS IT IS THE GOVERNMENT DUTY.

    Where is our chowkidar chacha? Main chowkidar banke baitoonga. Na khaoonga, na khane doonga. Where is he hiding? Have you heard of the saying - the fence eating the crop? This is the best example. Give away public property to Adani at a throwaway price and now say the government has nothing to do with the Adani issue. A shameless statement.

    Did this same govt knew very well Adani group when it sold public assets and state businesses to Adani unanimously, illegally from back door???.?.?…..Isn’t SEBI a govt body under finance ministry???.?….SEBI should clarify the present situation where huge amount of people’s money is involved and yet govt has the cheek to say ‘Govt has Nothing to Do with Adani Group’. How insensitive, How irresponsible, Washing its hands publicly to show no favouritism to dear Adani!??!?,?,.if this is govt attitude not owning responsibility and consequences for offence under its nose who wants to do business with such govt to risk thier hard earned money.

    BJP Andhbhakth Chaddi Chelas got funding for coming elections. Why Joshi,of FM ,and Feku Modi and Shah they are least bothered because all are hand in gloves. LIC share price from 949 to 600 nosedived. LIC policy holders money gone in drain. SBI public funds gone as well. Why Feku is keeping quiet. Because he fill support to Adani group. Now he is hiding no comments. India need BJP mukth government to save our country.

    How patriotic Indians can teach these corrupt, fraud, unethical corporates flourishing with government support due to political funding they make with dirty money ? Simple. Stop using products/services offered by corrupt/fraud/unethical companies. Invest in developed markets like US where security laws are stringent against manipulators. Everything is online these days. Quick, safe and secure. Remember: Government is not your parent. It is only an agent for a specific period. It has got vested interests to take care of its party financiers.

Is it not on similar lines of Jay Shahs company which made thousands of crores 1 year..from loss to profit? Golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hai. 🤣🤣🤣 if it was real value of shares120 billion dollar would not have got wiped out in 4 days. Booted out of forbes list.

    No one in bajapa or any andh bhakhth will ever agree that Adani even knew any of them... It is a simple thing for anyone to understand... No private bank has extended such facility where as they would be the first ones to swoop on good business... Out of all organizations LIC and SBI just gave such massive amounts... SBI says within RBI guidelines... Lucky that we have RBI guidelines.... LIC has no statutory control and their decision body members are all chelas of govt... We have not forgotten backstabbing of innocent investors by govt in greatest flopped LIC IPO... 900 plus poor retail investors paid and even after 8 months LIC share price is below 600... Does prahlad Joshi have any conscience???!!!...

    Joshi, if Government has nothing to with Adani? Why can't opposition's demand is allowed? Grapevine is that demonetization was by Modi to save his friend and political funder Adani from a disaster. We all know that how projects were awarded to Adani? As usual Modi is scared for a debate. Truth will come out sooner or later, Modi had his honeymoon, now his Rahu Kala has started.

How far you can manipulate ? Finance Minister again in this budget brought back P-Notes by FII's in GIFT City Gujarat the instrument used to do money laundering and banned by SEBI few years back. Now tell me who is corrupt & who is helping corrupt and frauds launder money ?
