Doha: Karnataka Sangha Organises Blood Donation Camp

Doha, May 30: The new committee of Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a socio-cultural and philanthropic organisation for the expats hailing from the state of Karnataka began its term through a noble way. The Sangha organized ‘Blood Donation Campaign’ at Hamad Medical Corporation blood bank on Saturday May 28.

Even though it was a working day, more than 100 members registered for the event and 25 units of blood was donated to the HMC.

Earlier welcoming the gathering V Mannangi, president of the Sangha stressed on the importance of blood donation and assured members of more such charitable activities in near future. General secretary Deepak Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.

Arun Kumar, immediate past president of KSQ and chairman of the advisory board, Aravind Patil, past president of KSQ and president of Indian Society Dukhan, Prabhakar, past president of KSQ, Milan Arun, head of affiliations and counsillor services ICC, Dr Sanjay Kudri, VP, KSQ, Niaz Ahmed, a prominent member of KSQ, Ravi Shetty, president Bunts Qatar, Prakashchandra Ajila, VP Bunts Qatar and many prominent members from Karnataka were present on the occasion.
