Uttara Kannada, Dec 27: The shooting of ‘Matsya Gandha’, a movie about the life of fishermen, is in full swing in and around beautiful locations of Karwar.

Pruthvi is donning the role of police for the first time in this movie. The movie is mainly centred on the life of fishermen and coastal people.

The multi-starrer movie has Prashant Siddi of Yellapur, Kiran Naik of Honnavar and Gopalkrishna Deshpande of Bengaluru. Devraj Poojary is the director.

The artistes of the movie are happy as the movie is about the life of the people of Uttara Kannada. Though many movies are shot in Uttara Kannada, this is the first movie that is throwing light on the life style of people of the district.

After the movie ‘Nammura Mandara Hoove’, this is the movie that is being shot completely in Uttara Kannada.
