Mangaluru: Jesnia Correa of MCCS bags gold medals in skating competition

Mangaluru, Dec 9: Mount Carmel Central School (MCCS), Mangaluru proudly announced the accolades achieved by one outstanding student, Jesnia Correa of grade VI in skating.

In the CBSE South Zone Skating competition held at Belgaum from December 4 to 8, Jesnia Correa won two gold medals and is selected for the CBSE nationals which will be held at Haryana this month end.

Prior to this, Jesnia participated in the State level Skating competition organized by Karnataka Roller Skating Association held at Bengaluru from November 16 to 19 and won a gold and a Silver medal. Here too, she is selected for the nationals which will be held at Bengaluru from December 11 to 22. She is a national level gold medal winner in skating in the year 2019 and 2021.

Jesnia is the daughter of Jerome and Preetha Correa of Bejai and is getting coached at Mangalore Roller Skating Club under the guidance of Mahesh Kumar.

The management, principal, staff and students congratulated Jesnia for her splendid success in skating and wished her all the best in the nationals.
