Mangaluru: Silver Jubilee celebrations held at St Anns Pre University College

Mangaluru, Dec 6: St Anns Pre University College celebrated its silver jubilee on December 3. Sr Dr M Lydia AC, former principal of St Ann's College of Education was the president, Dr Reshma Prashanth, assistant professor, SDM Law College, was the chief guest and Sr Maria Sudeepa, secretary, Apostolic Carmel Society was the guest of honour.

Principal Sr Marilda AC welcomed the gathering. Former principals Sr Sudeepa, Sr Rachana and Sr Sarika were felicitated for their leadership, Anil Noronha, vice principal read the citation. The meritorious, highest scorers and the cabinet were honoured.

Sr Dr M Lydia, in her presidential address, said that St Ann's believes in upholding the values set by Mother Veronica, founder of the Apostolic Carmel and also to live up to the motto of the college, "Excelsior." The chief guest recalled the memories of her student life at St Ann's PU College.

Rolita Divya D'Souza compered the event. Reena D'Almeida proposed a vote thanks. The formal function was followed by a cultural event which was compered by Ainam Mansia, Shanoora, Nazaf and Rehan.
