Mumbai: Maha Announces Load-shedding for Two Days

Mumbai, May 18 (PTI) Maharashtra will face load-shedding for two-five-and-an-half hour for two days as power generation at four units has been affected due to technical reasons, the state's power distribution company MSEDCL said.

Power generation has been affected due to technical fault at MSEDCL's units at Nashik, Khaperkheda, Parali and Paras, while generating station at Chandrapur is also not working up to its capacity, a spokesman for the company said.

Besides, MSEDCL is also getting 600 MW less supply from Jindal Power, he said.

Efforts are on to repair the generating sets and normalcy would be restored by tomorrow evening, he added.
