Mumbai: Malati Sitaram Poonja, Kalyan Passes Away

Mumbai, May 12: Fifty-eight-year-old Malati Sitaram Poonja, sister of Bhaskar S Shetty, proprietor of Hotel Gurudev in the central suburban Kalyan, chairman of Sharada Bhaskar Shetty Memorial Trust, Kalyan and former president of Karnataka Sangh – Kalyan passed away at Sunkadakatte – Ferrar, near Bajpe in Mangalore on Thursday May 12.

Malati Sitaram Poonja is survived by four sons and one daughter.

The last rite of Malati Sitaram Poonja will be held at their ancestral house in Ferrar, near Bajpe on Thursday evening, informed the family sources.
