Dammam: DKSC Holds Family Mulaqath 2011

Dammam, May 4: DKSC Dammam Zonal Committee held its biggest annual programme, a spectacular ‘Family Mulaqath 2011' at “Isthira Halaa” 91 Area here, recently.

The programme started with Qirath by Ismail Katipalla. Iqbal Mallur, Abdul Hameed Ullal welcomed the gathering and Zainuddin Mukwe briefed on DKSC activities and future plans.

Addressing the crowd Ustad Ibrahim Furqani and Ibrahim Furqani highlighted the virtues of charity and importance education in Islam. They requested people to come forward and join hands with DKSC to full fill their targets to empower the society by providing basic education.

During the event a spectacular quiz competition for various organizations of South Canara and for individuals conducted by Kamarudeen Goodinabali. Bajpe Area Minority Association (BAMA) won the competition and Jamiythul Falah (JF) went to runner up position.

Abdul Rahiman Panaje and Ismail Katipalla lead the Quran competition and religious activities for children’s and rewarded them by fabulous prizes DKSC volunteer Siraj Padil kept children busy throughout the programme with different kinds of sports, general quiz etc.

Attractive prizes were distributed on the spot for all the winners. A variety of outdoor games and sports were then organised by Shamsheer Mulky, Abdul Aziz Muduthota, Bajpe Sharief (Lays), Abdulaziz Athur and Ismail Uchila.

On the occasion of this event DKSC organized limited overs cricket tournament in Dammam earlier, 22 prominent teams from EP participated and Blue Lines Jubail beat Panorama in a thrilling final at Kanoo cricket ground in Dammam port area. Mohammed Ashraf from Blue lines was chosen as man of the match and Ansaf from same team lift the best batsman award for his brilliant contribution in the final. Salman from Panorama was selected as Man of the tourney for his exceptional performance during the tourney. Blue Star Dammam was nominated as the best discipline team. Winner and runners-up teams were awarded with trophies and individual medals.

Volleyball tourney was arranged during the event hours, Gulf Column ‘A’ beat Gulf Column ‘‘B’’ to lift the trophy.

Lady volunteers of DKSC professionally conducted QIZ Competitions and various games for the ladies and kids.

Imthiyaz Dammam won the bumper prize of Jet Airways air ticket for Dammam – Mumbai sector was sponsored by Suhana Travles Mangalore.

DKSC headed by Al Sayyed Kumbol Atakoya Thangal remembers the support that came in from its 13000 members, donors and guiders spreaded all over the GCC countries with great sense of gratitude.

Office-bearers of well known NRI organization’s such as Jamiyathul Falah, Darul Irshad, Katipalla Muslim Youth Association, Al Madeena Manjanady, Goodinabali Welfare Assocation, Markaz Women's College Kumbra, Bajpe Area Minority Association, Panorama, Al Qamar moolur ,Yermal Association (YWA) were present on the occasion.

Delicious dinner was served in addition to the snacks, ice cream and soft drinks. Hathim Kuloor and Hassan Kuppepadau were thanked for the excellent food arrangement.

Secretary Muhammad Hassan Muduthota, Ummer Haji Mukwe, Abdul Kareem Muloor, Moideen Haji Muloor, Hussain Muloor, Hamza Kana, Abdul Khader Sakaleshpura, Tahir Kundapura, Rasheed Thuqba Usman, Ismail Aramex, Anwar Portpolio, Anwar Gudinabali and Asif Goodinabli, Farook Kanyana, Mohammed Thahir Kundapura , Abdul Rasheed Kapu Thoqbha , Abdul Razzak Sakaleshpura, Tousifkenchankere, S H  Ansari Surathkal, Gafoor Thoqbha, Samsuddin Balkunje, Shaikh Balkunje, Mohammed Konchar, Hameed Konchar, Haneef Thadambail, Mohammed Shareef Mooduthota, all volunteers and well wishers of DKSC who were responsible for the success of the “Family Mulaqath 2011” through their restless work behind the scene were thanked wholeheartedly by the chairman Hassan Bawa Kuppepadav as well as the entire organizing committee.
