Doha: ICC holds 'garba night' to celebrate Navratri

Doha, Oct 1:  ICC conducted garba night to celebrate festivity of Indian culture and group dancing, synchronizing to the rhythm of music and songs on September 27.

Dr Alpna  Mittal, wife of Indian Ambassador to Qatar, and patron of Indian Women Association  was the chief guest of the evening and inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp and emphasising the importance of festivity in Indian culture.

She too enjoyed dancing with the ladies going in rounds in ICC Ashoka hall. Couples and specially ladies dressed in various colourful costumes dancing to the DJ tunes was best part of the evening. All were dancing rhythmically going around in circles to the tunes.

All participants were enjoying each movement of the evening under colourful lights and music. ICC MC managed the event with active participation of all sections of the Indian community and under the leadership of PN Babu Rajan, and energetic MC, this event is another feather in ICC cap, for year 2021-22. Kamala Thakur welcomed Madam Ambassador and invited all the guest to enjoy the evening.
