Mumbai: Seva Bharat Award for Dr Veerendra Heggade

Mumbai, Apr 28: Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala in Beltangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada district, has bagged the ‘Seva Bharat Award’ instituted by metro-based Seva Bharati ®.

The award will be conferred during the concluding ceremony of the silver jubilee celebrations—Vishwa Bharati programme of Seva Bharati ® scheduled to be held at Shanmukhanand auditorium, Kings Circle, Matunga—on Saturday April 30.

“The silver jubilee celebration committee honorary president B Vivek Shetty will preside over the programme,” informed Seva Bharati award committee president Dharmapal U Devadiga.

“Charisma Builder managing director Sudhir V Shetty, All Cargo managing director Shashikiran J Shetty, Intel Global Services CEO Sushir Kumar M, C R India chairman Jayaram N Shetty, and Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (NGO) founder Tonse Jayakrishna V Shetty will be the guests of honour,” informed Seva Bharati president Jaya K Shetty.

“‘Vasudeiva Kutumbakam’, a dance recital by Bangalore-based Samanvaya Nratya Balaga will be staged under the direction of Veenamurti, Vijay, Surya N Rao, and Kshama Krishna, while ‘Seva Bharat Mahan’, a dance show, will be stated by metro’s Shailaja Madhusudan,” informed Seva Bharati honorary chief secretary Bhaskar A Shetty and honorary treasurer chartered accountant Sadashiv B Shetty.
