Fr Alwyn D’cunha arrives in Dubai to take part in LKAE Easter Celebration

Dubai, Apr 26: Lourdes Kanajar Association (LKAE) is all set to celebrate Easter on Thursday April 28 at Hotel Al-Mas, Bur-Dubai. LKAE is now stepping into the 11th year since its inception in 2000, and had recently held its decennial celebrations at Kanajar.
Fr Alwyn D’cunha, parish priest, who will be the chief guest at the celebrations, has specially been flown in from Kanajar. LKAE members had been eagerly awaiting his arrival in Dubai. Fr Alwyn D’cunha has completed seven years of service in the capacity of the parish priest, and during his tenure, he has worked very hard for the upliftment of the parishioners, both spiritually and financially. Kanajar parish has, in the recent past, witnessed a number of major developmental projects in the form of a huge auditorium, a complete makeover to the church building, and several other projects. With the help of LKAE and parishioners at large, he has been instrumental in setting up of an educational fund for the poor children, through which, over 15 children have been sponsored as of now. These children are studying in various disciplines such as engineering, nursing and other degree courses.
As a spiritual leader of LKAE, he has extended his support to it in every possible way, and now LKAE has invited him to participate in their joyous celebration of Easter, together with the families of over 120 members in the Emirate.
