Mumbai: Apr 25: B T Mallya, an entrepreneur and a long-time associate of metro-based GSB Sabha was appointed as trustee of Sabha, during the 71st annual general body meeting held at I M Pai Hall of Sujir Gopal Nayak Memorial Kreeda Mandir, Kings Circle, Matunga, here on Saturday April 23. B T Mallya succeeded Sudha Kini who passed away on October 5 2010. Thirty-six members were present on the occasion.

Sudha Pai (president), Madhav V Kamath (vice president), S C Pai, S D Shenoy and Subhaschandra R Rao (joint honorary secretaries), Uday V Mallya, Mohini Hegde and K R Bhakta (joint honorary treasurers), Satish V Manel, Ashok K Pai Krishna N Bhandarkar, Shanteri N Nayak, Ashok K Pai, Ashok Hegdekar, Tanushree Rao, Satish Kini, Ravi Gadiyar, Ashok Nayak, Bina Shenoy and Bharat Kini (committee members) were the appointed. The new Committee decided to set up a library-cum-reading room, in memory of Anant Pai of Amar Chitra Katha fame.
