Bengaluru, Jan 25: Former ‘Bigg Boss’ Kannada contestant and Kannada actress Jayashree Ramaiah was found dead at her residence in the afternoon on Monday January 25.

The actress was battling depression according to reports. It is gathered that she died by hanging herself on Sunday late at night.

Jayashree was in news for her posts on social media. “"I quit. Goodbye to this f*****g world and depression,” she had posted on her Facebook account on July 22, 2020. However, she quickly deleted her post and shared a new update saying, "I'm Alright and safe!! Love you all." (Sic)

Three days later, she went live on her social media handle and said that she was not doing all that for publicity sake and was expecting to die as she was unable to battle depression.

    It's sad to see the young generation opting suicide as a final resort. I'm still unable to digest Sushant's death. Modern lifestyle and unable to coup with the expenses and no work because of the pandemic may have led her to depression and ultimately suicide. RIP, is the only we can say.

    Depression is Sharapanjara (Kannada), meaning a cage of arrows. The arrows constantly prick the person and he does not see any escape from that cage. In such a situation, if the person has kept good contact with parents, brothers and sisters, that person can narrate the problem, and with love, understanding and patience, by taking the help of a psychiatrist, the person can be brought to normal situation. However, though there is a 24 hour helpline, people are either ignorant or not in a proper mindset at that time to seek help. RIP Jayashree.

    Life is comfortable as long we try to control ourselves and do not overdo things in life. Having good looks and acting profession life is shortlived. RIP

    Flavian, Manngalore/Kuwait;
    Beauty and looks are always short lived and fades very fast. Here, Jayashree was suffering from depression.
    This might be due to loneliness, no communication with the parents, no friends to share the sorrows and happiness. Above all, most of the young lads , want to live a life of independent life on borrowed values, moving away from parents and gets agitated when the so called their PRIVAVY is being enquired.

    If it is suicide, I feel sad. Strong motivational push, could have saved her life.

    There is very much possibility of murder as most of his known people were aware that she declared she is depressed and would end her life soon.
