Kundapur, Jan 16: Several lac people lost their lives during the disastrous coronavirus pandemic. Mankind struggled to find a vaccine and control the virus.
The government at the centre has given the green signal for two vaccines under the names Covaxin and Covishield. Saturday January 16 is a historic day today in the state as the vaccination against the virus is set in motion for the first time.
Sand Theme Udupi team has prepared a sand sculpture with the title ‘Welcome Vaccine’ with wishes that the situation may return to normalcy and that there may be good health for all.
The sculpture is prepared by artists Harish Sanga and Raghavendra at Neralakatte – Kodi beach. The sculpture is seven feet wide and four feet high.
